Five things people want to know
- Will it be ready in time?
- Four weeks from the day the design and the cost are locked. Tell us the date and we work backwards from it.
- How much of it do I see before it is made?
- The drawing and the price are agreed before anything is charged beyond the deposit. Production opens with a CAD render for you to approve, and photographs follow from the bench. There are finished pieces to hold in Melbourne too, by appointment.
- What if I get the size wrong?
- We settle the size with you before production — discreetly, if this is a surprise.
- Is a lab-grown diamond a real diamond?
- The same stone, grown rather than mined, and certified by IGI or GIA. G colour and VS2 clarity are the lowest we will work with — go as far above that as you like.
- What is it worth afterwards?
- After eighteen months we buy it back for 60% of what you paid, or credit 90% toward another piece — 100% toward one worth twice as much.
A $500 deposit starts production. The balance is due when the ring is finished, not before.
